"Striving for Excellence in Education and Kindling Early Readiness for Success" is the mission of The SEEKERS Program. Research suggests that the extent to which risk factors, such as child abuse victims, foster care recipients, child welfare, juvenile justice involvement or mental health related concerns, lead to serious academic problems can be reduced or counter-balanced by the number of positive qualities or circumstances that we are involved.

The SEEKERS Program’s design is established in such a way to help families by adding protective factors within the lives of children that assist in the development of strong cognitive and social skills. Strong cognitive and social skills can help form a buffer between the child and various risk factors. The buffers, such as positive relationships, participating in high quality afterschool programs, and the development of strong cognitive and social skills reduce the impact of risk factors.

God is a rewarder to them that diligently seek Him!
